Easy Banana bread.
Ingredients :-- 2 cups Plain flour
- 2&1/4 Tsp baking powder
- 2/3 cup raw sugar or white sugar
- 2 over ripe good sized bananas
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 50 gms butter
- 2 eggs
- around 2 tbsp of chopped walnuts and chocolate chips.(optional)
Method:-
Pre heat your oven to 200 degrees for conventional oven and 180 degrees for fan forced ovens. Line a 11cm x 21cm loaf pan with baking paper.
Combine sifted flour and baking powder, sugar and cinnamon powder in a big bowl and make a well in the center.
In a separate medium sized bowl, mash two bananas, add two lightly whisked eggs, cooled melted butter, milk, walnuts and choclate chips. Combine all of these together.
Then add the banana mixture to the flour mixture and stir to combine, now pour the combined mixture in to a loaf pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes OR bake until the skewer inserted into the center of the bread comes clean.
Remove the bread from the oven and set aside in pan for 5 minutes. Now take the bread out and let it cool on a wire rack.
NOTE: Recipe serves 10 people and preparation takes around 10 minutes,cooking time is 50 minutes.
