Dates with orange blossom cream

Preparation time 20 mins. Serves 4


Ingredients:


8 to 10 medjool dates.
4 blocks of kirri cheese room temperature/ 4 tbsp cream cheese/ 4 tbsp cream cheese spread
1/2 cup whipping cream 
1 tsp Orange blossom water (note*)
Crushed pistachios to sprinkle on top


Method:

Carefully make a slit on one side of medjool date, and take the seed out. Make sure you don’t cut the date all the way through to the other side. Set your de seeded dates aside.
In your mixing bowl smash the kirri cheese blocks and mix as much as u can with a fork. Next whip your cream in a stand mixer or by hand. It should form soft peaks and should not be runny . Add smashed up cream cheese to it whip a bit more until we’ll combined. Last add the orange blossom water . Your cream mix is now ready to be filled in dates. 
Use a tsp to carefully fill in the prepared dates, top with crushed pistachios. Your dates are now ready to be served!! Enjoy!

Note: orange blossom water can be found in middle eastern stores. If you can not find it u can do a variation with rose water or even vanilla essence.
Another variation can be putting a whole almond on top of cream instead of crushed pistachios.
